Multan Sultans' skipper Mohammad Rizwan shined yet again as he smashed a half-century against Lahore Qalandars in the opening clash of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Rizwan scored his 13th fifty of the PSL against the defending champions. The wicketkeeper-batter scored 75 runs in 50 balls, including eight boundaries and one maximum.
Rizwan, along with his opening partner Shan Masood, put their side in a commanding position as they stitched a 100-run partnership for the first wicket.
Fans took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to hail Rizwan for his exceptional fifty.

It should be mentioned here that Lahore Qalandars beat Multan Sultans by one run in the opening clash of the PSL.
Zaman Khan defended 14 runs in the last over to win the game for his side.
Kieron Pollard and Usama Mir were sent back to the pavilion after getting run-out, while Khusdil Shah couldn't reach the target, thanks to the youngster's brilliant bowling.
